Amsterdam – New Art of Floral Tattoos
Amsterdam for centuries has been one of the most inspiring places on the Planet.
A legend by itself. Cultural center of the world. And I just moved in!
Walking on the same streets as Rembrandt or Vincent Van Gogh gently forces You to let go of the creative tension and encourages to do something artistic. It could be painting, writing, playing music, making a delicious coffee, drawing or … tattooing. The source of inspiration here is literally – unlimited. You just need to notice it! The old town with its unique architecture, museums full of greatest masterpieces of all time and lovely parks where You can sit and slow down for a moment.
It is also wonderful to watch how the Sunlight reflexes in canals making one of a kind delicate mist that changes over the day and season. Everywhere You see charming cafes with beautiful interior design, colorful stained glass in some parts of the window and aromatic coffee that guide You to them through the canals. All that, and much more, makes Amsterdam a great city.
It’s like a “perfect storm” for art. An ideal combination!
Especially for me, since I truly love flowers, it is the right place to be. People are growing flowers in front of their houses, in pots on balloons. You can see them in floral shops, or beautifully decorating the bridges, making the city even more colorful and bright. Not to mention every single city park, from the smallest to biggest, the flowers are there! Oh, I almost forgot about the flower markets, where You can probably buy the most sophisticated sort of flowers you can ever think of, plus of course TULIPS – the trademark.
Such scenery is there for most of the year ( winter doesn’t count, but it is a great time to draw some new floral designs! ), and even a random walk in the city can provide fresh ideas and inspiration.
