Best clothes for a tattoo session
Make Yourself comfortable in the Vadelma Tattoo!
Tattoo sessions could take a long time. Good artwork is not made in a second. But even for shorter visits in the studio, we highly recommend wearing comfortable outfits. It is important that You will feel good during the tattooing process. Appropriate clothes certainly help!
Here are our tips:
Once again! It must be comfy. Not too tight or stiff. Preferably made with a breathable material. Consider what kind of clothes meet those conditions and wear them. However, You don’t need to dress like you’re going to the gym. A tattoo session is not that exhausting that You will be drained in sweat. Keep in mind that depending on the placement of the tattoo, You might need to lay on Your back, or on Your front, or on the side.
Take into account also, that some placements require to show a bit more body. Ribs are a good example of that. It is a very popular placement for a tattoo, and it is a good idea to prepare Yourself for that. For sure You have some clothes that will give the freedom to make the tattoo, and at the same time cover that should be cover. Or if You get a tattoo on Your back, just wear a T-shirt with a cutout (some swimsuits have also open backs ), and both You and the tattoo artist will feel comfortable.
Those are quick and easy things to do, but they improve the whole experience in the studio.
I highly recommend taking an additional hoodie, or a blanket with You. Even though it is warm at our place, sometimes after hours of laying on the bench, You could feel cold anyway. It is because of a lack of moving and our bodies have little possibilities to warm up.
The last tip is to wear clothes that could be potentially stained and it won’t be the end of the world. Making a tattoo is to work with inks. Very rarely, it happens that accidentally a small drop of ink will fall either on my or unfortunately on Your clothes. Of course You can wash it in a washing machine ( it is not that hard ), but I feel obligated to tell you about such a possibility.
So, do You have in mind what you will wear on Your next tattoo session?
With love,
Natalie
