How Patience Affects Tattoos
Hello Everyone! In today’s blog we’re going to talk about Patience. It is one of the most bombaring features of human beings in the modern world, yet one of the most important if we want to be successful, happy and have beautiful tattoos. Marcus Aurelius was writing about it more than 2000 years ago in his “Meditations”, it seems that in a way we are the same now, with the one change – world speed up around us by a lot!
How Patience affects Tattoos – customer perspective.
A well made tattoo starts with the idea. To be satisfied with the ink in the long run, in most cases it is necessary to think it through. Take Your time, consider the placement, size, elements of the design and of course the Artist’s aesthetics that speak to You. Do it right, even if it means traveling to another city or saving a bit more. Beautiful tattoos are certainly worth it. Make sure that You will feel great with it. Don’t hesitate to contact us, even with the raw vision for the project. We are here to help You. In fact, in the majority of the designs we make at Vadelma, the actual session starts with an email conversation. We discuss Your ideas together, ask for all information necessary to create a tattoo You will love and only then we book an appointment for You. It takes some time, typically a few days, however that way we are prepared and You are too. Compulsory sessions in a Walk In style are not the way we are approaching tattoos, plus, since those projects are always custom made, we need time to draw it before You come. For all who already got a tattoo in our studio it is already known that they see the ready project on the tattoo session day. Here not only patience is needed, but also trust. By knowing what kind of art we are providing, You as a customer should trust the process. You gave us the idea and we are processing it through our artistic minds to make a design that will combine our vision and yours in a single piece.
Artist’s perspective.
Being patient is a key element to art and well executed tattoos. There is no space for compromise in terms of tattoos. From creating the design for You, through the session and making the actual tattoo. As all of You know, at Vadelma Tattoo we are making all projects by our hands, You won’t find a ready-to-go design from Pinterest here. It is not only immoral, but it also kills creativity and trust. People are willing to have a tattoo that is made only for them – and we are here to keep up to that promise. Does it require patience? Yes, of course, however if You love what You do, and You are doing it for art and clients, the good way to think about it is via Gratitude. It is indeed a privilege that people are willing to come to our Studio and get a tattoo by us. That’s awesome! How could we be impatient? The tattoo session at Vadelma always takes what it takes. No rush here. Speed is the worst advisor in the tattoo industry. If the tattoo is bigger, then we are meeting for multiple sessions. It is not about getting a tattoo just for the sake of having one. But to have one that will mean something for You, will be made exactly how You want it and the way You love!
Final words
I hope that after this short reading You know us better. People who did a tattoo in our studio also share such an approach. Making a tattoo should be an experience, from the first email to the last minutes in the studio. Let’s make it personal and let’s make it good.
Thank You!
Much love,
Simon
