How to prepare for a tattoo session?
Good preparation is a great way to make Your appointment as pleasant and comfortable as possible. But how to do it ? It is a whole lot easier than You think 🙂
Here it is :
– Sleep and eat well before the session.
– Be relaxed – as much as possible 🙂
– Moisturize the place on skin where You want to have a tattoo a couple of days prior
Take some entertainment with You.
Books and headphones are our number 1! Sugary drink, water, protein bars, fruits might be also helpful to raise Your energy, especially on the longer sessions. Take just enough time for this, no hurry and rush. You get a tattoo once in a while and for a lifetime. Our tip is to really enjoy this moment without any distractions and time restrictions. Wear comfortable clothes. Avoid sun baths, at least on the place of Your new tattoo (or use sun lotion, the strongest one ). Of course Vitamin-D is healthy and important for our body, but if You get a sunburn, or a really strong tan, it will negatively affect Your tattoo. In fact, most tattooers won’t do the ink on such a skin, and You will have to wait and book a new appointment after Your skin gets back to normal condition.
These are general recommendations,
that will certainly help You, but everybody is different. You know exactly what works best for You, what makes You feel relaxed and what You like to eat on a break. From our perspective, the most important thing is when our customers are rested, relaxed and they remembered to use some moisturizers before the session. Those factors really affect the tattooing process, it is better for You and for us !
