Session at Vadelma pt. 1
Have You already been to our studio? Or are You planning to visit us to get a beautiful tattoo?
This post is for You!
Let’s imagine the day of the tattoo session, from arriving at Vadelma Tattoo until leaving the studio with a new piece of art on Your skin. To make the journey relevant to You, I will use the customer’s perspective.
10:25, Friday morning. Session’s day.
“Perfect! I am right on time, just 5 minutes to the appointment” – Flora said aloud, having a quick look at her watch. She just parked bike, locked it and went across the street where Bilderdijkstraat 77 is. The place looked quiet and clean. Entrance was super easy to find. Just in between Kruidvat and some DIY store, a big door with all the information on them. She pulled the door and found herself in the hall with an escalator, she went upstairs. On the first floor, to her surprise, Flora noticed the Amsterdam’s headquarter of PATTA clothing company. “That building is full of creative vibes” – she thought. The waiting area of Vadelma Tattoo was just above PATTA, on the second floor.
First thing she noticed was a beautiful spacious room, with sofas and a huge window with a view of Bilderdijkstraat. Whole thing makes a friendly, yet elegant atmosphere. In the corner, in front of the stairs was ELECTRONIC RECEPTIONIST. She came closer, typed the screen and checked in. That was easy and so modern!
In the meantime, at the Vadelma Tattoo Studio, there was a sound “BING” … a sound of a notification telling Natalie and Simon that a client is waiting …
Flora sat down. She felt good in this place and while waiting, she started to analyze her surroundings with her architect’s eye. “What a nice concept to work and have business. Still in the city center, but not that overcrowded with people. Great connection. Light and safe, other people waiting there too. And what a wise usage of commercial space. In cities like Amstrdam, where square meters are in such demand, someone has a smart idea to establish a “Polyclinic” for a beauty industry. I really like it! “
After 5 minutes she saw Simon calling her name.
“Flora? NIce to meet You! Natalie is waiting for You, come with me!” – he said. They went further into the actual business area. Vadelma Tattoo was on the right after a 15 meters walk. Natalie was waiting already for Flora, smiling and asking how she is feeling today. The studio was bright and clean. Vadelma Tattoo has its origin in Finland and it is designed in a minimalistic, nordic way too. Only a few colors dominated there, all well combined together. White, light wood ( acacia ), gray and black, making an impression of calmness and harmony. On the left side, were hanging 3 fine art prints, all from the series of WILD ROSES! It turned out that Natalie created them by herself. They are the first prints ever made by Natalie.
‘’Authentic and beautiful! I will certainly order one of them, first they are available for sale.’’ – was the first thing that came to Flora’s mind when she saw them.
Flora sat with Natalie at the table and started talking about the design.
“I have something beautiful for You Flora, the birth flower bouquet You asked me to create for You is amazing!’’ – said Natalie. Flora was a bit excited at that point, but in a good way. She also knew that it would be awesome, that’s why she chose Vadelma Tattoo. Natalie’s words calmed her slightly down too. However that shiver of positive emotions couldn’t help but went through her whole body! Natalie showed her the tattoo project on her tablet and Flora was literally shocked.
“Oh my God! It is so beautiful! You captured my vision so perfectly! I had exactly such a project in mind, but probably could not even describe it so well. Thank You Natalie!’’
Now Flora was at ease with the tattoo session. She felt that she was in good hands!
That would be everything for today! In some future BLOG I will tell You the rest of the story!
With love!
