Tattoo Art that Speaks To You
Hello Everyone!
In today’s BLOG I wanted to share some of my recent observations. Tattoos have become and are constantly developing into a respectable form of art – appreciated by most people from all kinds of backgrounds. It is like early rock and roll music. It started somewhere and after sometime – the world welcomed it. This transformation has its reflection in the way CUSTOMERS search for the new tattoo. In the past, they would go to the studio to ask for a tattoo and that was it. The variety of choices, style and places were limited. In a way = less choices = less anxiety. To be fair, that example is simplified, since we can find examples of great famous artists in every era of tattooing where people wanted to go specifically to them.
Nowadays,
I just noticed that the concept of the studio itself has lost its influence. A studio can exist for many years, but there are tattoo artists working there that do the job and they can come and go. And tattoo enthusiasts, who know the nuances of this industry don’t rely solemnly on the studio, but on the people who are creating it. It is like with a house. Without people there, making the warm, cosy, family atmosphere it is just an empty building without the soul. No matter how big or beautiful. That’s why we see so many small PRIVATE studios out there. Including our tiny, lovely Vadelma – that is run by me ( Simon here ) and my wife NATALIE When You come to us for a tattoo session, it is like coming to our home, we are hosts, but we are there to make You feel great and provide the most beautiful tattoo experience we can.
As Bob Dylan
used to sing ‘ Times are A’changin – and now we are witnessing such a change with tattoos. Of course the typical tattoo studios will not disappear, they have their own market and there is space for everybody, but somehow I am glad that we are living in times where there is an option. There is another way to work differently for people who have a very specific vision on tattoo art. For people like us, and for people like You. For those who seek for personal connections and individual approaches.
Thank You so much for Your time! I wish You a lovely day and maybe we’ll meet sometime.
Much love,
Simon
