Vadelma’s 2025 Summary

1st Anniversary in AMSTERDAM Just at the beginning of 2025 we marked the 1st year of Vadelma TATTOO in this beautiful city of Amsterdam. That was quick. In times when so many things are occurring almost immediately, it is hard to notice passing time. That’s why it is so important to step back, take a huge breath and slow down for a moment. The end of the year is a perfect period to do so. Soon, at the end of January 2026, we will celebrate our 2nd year here and the 5th year of Vadelma Tattoo in general. We opened our studio for the first time in 2021 in Finland. Anytime I do such a summary, I have the same quote in mind: “5 years will pass anyway. You can start doing anything you want, and after 5 years you will be pretty good at it, or you can do nothing, the choice is always yours.’’ It holds true in all aspects of life—from health, education, to relations. You can either improve, or… well, you know what’s the opposite.

Vadelma Prints
That was a big deal for us. Especially for NATALIE since she is the artistic director of this project! Natalie created all the designs and put so much love and work into making Vadelma Prints as great as they are! Everything—from the art itself, every small detail, choice of size and materials, to the attached passe-partout and box—is just wonderful and well-designed. There is no coincidence there! It was beautiful to be able to watch and take part in the whole process. I know that if you decide to buy one of the Vadelma Prints you will be happy! I turned 30 y.o.
Another milestone? Well, that was the easiest one! Statistically, most people are able to do it! But anyway, I am happy about that! The next decade will be under the sign of providing good jobs to our existing and future customers. Like a hard-working ant rather than a one-time hero. Despite all the things you can see on social media, nothing is better than constant, even slow movement. Showing up every day to practice is the key. I am glad that now, with 30 years on my back, I know exactly what I want to do, where, and with whom. That’s a strong foundation. Now it’s time to build something beautiful on it.

Simon Vadelma Podcast
Wow! That was my dream since I was a kid, even though I didn’t know it back then. There were no PODCASTS in the early 2000s. However, I always wanted to have my own radio audition, and now I have a podcast—which is close enough for me, if not even better. Why did I do it? Probably to test myself and open a door to new opportunities. For now, all the material there is purely educational and informative—to help our customers be prepared for the session and to know the most important things about the way we work. We already see the benefits of it in our work; our customers really watch the episodes and I’ve heard many times that it already helped them in one way or another. However, later on I am open to doing interviews, and it could be an adventure of its own. I am really looking forward to it!

2025 was a good Year
It set up the conditions for future development as well. Which is a good thing! I believe in having clear goals, but working here and now towards them. That’s the best way, in my opinion. It helps to be grounded in the present as much as possible, which is the only reality we have. I hope that your 2025 was also great! I wish you all the best now and in the future! Bless you!
