Valentine’s Day & Tattoos That Matter
Hello everyone!
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner.
Is it a holiday you celebrate? A special time for loved ones? Or are you one of those people who believe that if your everyday life is full of love and kindness, you don’t really need Valentine’s Day?
Either way, in such a fast-paced world, maybe it’s a good reminder of what truly matters in life — and that is certainly LOVE.
14th February
For most people, the 14th of February means men running through the streets with flowers, shops overflowing with red hearts and decorations, and women dressed beautifully. On every corner, someone is reminding you that “love is all around us.”
Restaurants are fully booked months in advance, especially those with a romantic atmosphere. People go a little crazy — and honestly, that makes perfect sense.
Saint Valentine is known as the patron saint of lovers, and if you think about it, being in love isn’t that far from being slightly mental anyway.
Loveness might just be the only mental condition we would all benefit from. It should be contagious.
In my home country, there was a tradition of sending Valentine’s cards anonymously. A bit of mystery, a bit of romance. Isn’t it beautiful to receive a love letter from a “stranger” — even if you know deep down it’s from your girlfriend, husband, or that person you secretly like?
At schools, students could put their cards into a special box, and on Valentine’s Day they were distributed.
A much nicer way of telling someone you like them than Tinder, don’t you think?
Would a Tattoo Be a Nice Valentine’s Gift?
Of course.
Especially a beautiful one — like the tattoos you can get at Vadelma Tattoo.
Love is one of the most beautiful things in life, so a tattoo made on that day should reflect that beauty too. Permanent flowers in the form of a tattoo. An eternal love statement written as a romantic poem in a delicate, handwritten font. These are just ideas — the most important thing is choosing something that truly resonates with you and your loved one.
Maybe a mutual conversation over coffee about getting a tattoo together could already be a lovely break from the day-to-day routine. Booking a tattoo session on Valentine’s Day can bring a completely new experience into a relationship.
And every time you see that tattoo afterward, the memories of that day will return — brightening even the darkest hours.
