What a complex Job! Part 2.
Let’s talk about our industry!
In the previous blog, we touched a little bit the tip of the iceberg of the complexity related to being a professional tattoo artist. We talked about the proper preparations in terms of hygienic protocol, developing skills and knowledge about the machines and all the stuff. But is this enough to be a complete tattooer? Buying a scissor doesn’t make anybody a hairdresser. Buying a tattoo machine doesn’t make anybody a tattooer either. The thing that a person can do with it, makes the difference! Practice, patience and a vision creates great individuals ( some talent might be useful as well 🙂 ).
What was first? Design, or a tattoo?
This is not a question about the origins of the universe, but actually just about tattoos. In our opinion, designs come first. Beautifully created projects are totally necessary. And beautiful projects arise in the creative mind of an artist. They are not downloaded from Pinterest. The only true Pinterest of an artist is her/his Imagination, and true inspiration is the whole world, with all the great masterpieces of art being created throughout the centuries, and the nature, cities and people that surround us.
The following and inherent part of being a tattooer is to be a designer.
As You can see in our AVAILABLE DESIGNS section here on this website. We are constantly working to provide the most wonderful project for You to choose and build an awareness that our DESIGNS are different. It is not about better or worse, but certainly they distinguish themself from the crowd and that’s important. For example, if You hear a song and voice from Miley Cyrus, You know who she is immediately.
We do our best to achieve the same result with our artwork.
You will see a tattoo, and You will know … It is the Vadelma Team!
Take care,
Simon, Team Vadelma
