Turning this vision into reality felt like a necessity. We wanted to create a tattoo studio where we would personally want to get tattooed ourselves — a place that is private, safe, clean, welcoming, and truly attentive to the client’s needs. A studio free from unnecessary pressure and biases, always evolving and improving.
Why We Chose an Appointment-Only Tattoo Studio
This vision naturally led us to open a cozy, appointment-only tattoo studio.
Working exclusively by appointment allows us to focus completely on each client. It gives space for conversation, trust, and thoughtful tattooing. This approach is essential for the kind of custom tattoos and personal experiences we want to offer at Vadelma Tattoo.

Our Location – Gallery Studios, Amsterdam
Vadelma Tattoo is located at Bilderdijkstraat 77 in Amsterdam, inside a multi-business beauty hub called Gallery Studios.
Gallery Studios is home to around 30 different professionals — from skin care specialists and hairstylists to body therapists and makeup artists. It works a bit like a polyclinic: a shared waiting area and common spaces, with each professional operating from their own private studio.
For us, this setup is ideal.
A Calm Tattoo Experience Above the City
Although the entrance is from the street, the main studio space is located on the second floor. This keeps us away from city noise, crowds, and random walk-in visitors.
That calm environment allows us to fully focus on you and on the tattoo work itself. When you arrive, you simply check in using the electronic receptionist, letting us know you’re there — simple, smooth, and stress-free.
This structure makes it possible to offer tattoos, customer service, and an individualized approach exactly as we envisioned from the beginning.
A Studio Built Around the Client
After years in the tattoo industry, we’ve learned a lot by listening to our clients. Their feedback, experiences, and needs shape how we work. It’s an ongoing journey — and one we truly enjoy.
